VISITORS

 

Visitors are welcome to SAM MBOLLET. We can arrange  a trip for you, as part of your holiday, if you wish to visit the village. We can offer day trips or longer stays if you would prefer, if you wish you may spend your entire Gambian holiday at the village. Alternatively if you want to stay long term as part of voluntary work or gap year this can also be arranged.

 

SAM MBOLLET lies on the north bank of the River Gambia which is away from the tourist areas of The Gambia. To arrange a visit to this unspoilt part of the country please contact, via e-mail, our exclusive operator Tilly's Tours above. Tilly's Tours office is located at Senegambia Strip, Kololi
The Gambia. All costs for these tours, less fuel, will go directly to the villagers for costs incurred, with any funding left going into GLOVE for expenditure against the ongoing projects.

Visitors to The Gambia often ask if there is anything they can bring: the answer is a resounding ‘YES’!  Most things are more than acceptable but please get in touch before you go, either through the GLOVE email address or Tilly's Tours, if you want specific advice.  If there are items that you would like to bring but are not sure about, eg medicines, seeds, plants, check they can be brought into the country through the standard Customs route.
