Cheesay Visitors' House

This large roundhouse has 2 extra large rooms toilets and a shower area with the doors and windows now in place.

The purpose of this small house is so that visitors and volunteers can stay in the village in clean conditions. It will also be an income generating project for the village as they will be paid to feed and look after such visitors.

 

Come & Help

GLOVE is hoping to be able to attract visitors, to assist on the various projects, as well as doctors and nurses to improve the Health condition of the villagers as a whole. Without such accommodation this would not be a realistic option.

 

Bring Medical Supplies

Visiting Tourists can continue to assist us with improving general health by bringing us antiseptic creams, bandages, sterile dressings, antiseptic wipes, disposable gloves, eye wash, painkillers, sanitary towels, general first aid items.

We would also appreciate more specialist medical supplies such as sutures, antibiotics, blood pressure machines, sugar testing kits, stethoscopes, thermometers, an electric nebuliser, mobile S.A.Ts machine.

 

We try to assist the Medical centre on the North Bank area in Essau as they are desperately short of all medical supplies due to the number of patients they treat everyday. So if you are in the medical profession or have any such contacts please let us know.

The visitor's house needs floor covering, beds, bedding and general furnishings.
